In the heart of Schönefeld-Nord, the municipality’s new, vital center is emerging across an area of 150 hectares. This ambitious major project was planned as a sustainable flagship district within the framework of the integrated urban development concept (INSEK).
Where open fields once stood, an urban living space for around 10,000 people is being created. The concept focuses heavily on quality of life: Alongside modern housing, cultural institutions, generous recreational spaces, restaurants, and shops are firmly integrated into the new cityscape.
